Mae Fah Luang University welcomes people who are interested to further their studies in the following master's degree programs.

1. Master of Arts Program in Cultural Studies

This program concentrates on producing graduates with profound ability to do cultural research, analyze cultural issues, develop new domains of cultural knowledge and apply knowledge to the handling of sociocultural changes. It aims to generate cooperation, understanding and peace on the basis of equity amidst the cultural, economic and political diversity of the upper Greater Mekhong Sub-region.


2. Master of Education Program in Education Management

The principal objective of this program is to enhance knowledge and concepts of education management and the search for up-to-date techniques employed in modern educational practices, with an attempt to develop education personnel and organizations to accommodate the modern society that is going through constant political, economic and technological changes.


3. Master of Art Program in Teaching Chinese As a Foreign Language

This program is designed to enhance the knowledge and pedagogical skills for teachers of the Chinese language. Graduates are also expected to manage teaching and learning efficiently and further improve it.


4. Master of Public Administration Program

This program aims to develop students' acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge in public administration and related fields, and to equip them with internationally practiced concepts and ethics in public administration as well as the ability to integrate the public and private sectors operation principles.


5. Master of Science Program in Applied Chemistry

This program aims to produce personnel equipped with analytical ability as well as research and development potential in order to accommodate technological internationalism and to put scientific knowledge into practice in response to the industrial sector's needs, taking into consideration the fact that chemical research and findings play a constructive role in several branches of modern science and technology.


6. Master of Science Program in Biotechnology

This multidisciplinary program in biotechnology, essential to the present and future development of the country, concentrates on the enhancement, advancement and application of knowledge and development of agriculture, medicine, industry and the environment.


7. Master of Science Program in Bioscience

This is a multidisciplinary program with an emphasis on every aspect of bio-scientific study and research, including taxonomy, evolution, genetics, ecology, molecular genetics and reproduction.


8. Master of Science Program in Computational Science

This multidisciplinary program concentrates on developing personnel with knowledge in applied science, applied mathematics, computer science and other related disciplines. Simulation and computation by high-performance computers will be employed for purposes of analysis, decision-making and prediction. The program has been designed to promote new trends in research and development, which will give the country a competitive edge in computational science.


9. Master of Science Program in Materials Science

This program, which integrates coursework and thesis-writing, places emphases on properties of materials, the strengths and weaknesses of each material, and material-property control, all of which can be achieved through implementation of a micro-structural system in conjunction with an appropriate production process.


10. Master of Science Program in Ceramic Industrial Technology

Designed to enhance the knowledge of the development of ceramic production technology, this program concentrates on strengthening scientific skills for research and development as well as methodical problem-solving in the production process. It integrates studies in business administration and management in response to the needs for new perspectives in ceramic industry development, the minimization of loss in the production process, and the development of small- and medium-size enterprises, whose main strategy is to adapt existing technologies to newly-invented products and increase the product value.


11. Master of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Management (International Program)

This is a program designed to solve the problems of natural resources and environment in the Greater Mekong Sub-region. It builds on basic knowledge in physical and biological sciences and related social and economic problems, and increases graduates potential in planning and managing natural resources and environment.


12. Master of Science Program in Food Technology.

This program is an in-depth study of 5 specialties, namely food chemistry, food safety and micro-organisms, food biotechnology, food processing an engineering, and product development. Graduates will be able to apply knowledge to the food industry, and in so doing, contribute to the countrys economy.


13. Master of Science Program in Cosmetic Science.

The primary aim of this program is to produce gradates with profound ability in cosmetic science, who are able to pursue research work in the development and quality control of cosmetics, and have moral and ethics in the profession.


14. Master of Science Program in Strategic Management Information System.

This is a very intensive program in information technology management covering basic theories, practice and problem solving in actual situations. Educational multimedia and modern laboratories are used, as well as joint projects with the industrial sector, with the aim of producing competent personnel in IT management for the countrys growing IT business and industry.

15. Master of Law Program

This program aims at producing quality graduates who are proficient in law, in response to the demand of society. It is divided in 3 areas: criminal law, concentrating on graduates with expertise in advanced criminal law, in response to the judicial institution and other government units; business law, in response to the business sector and related fields; public law, in response to the increased demand for such legal institutions as the administrative court and other related public institutions.


16. Master of Business administration Program (English program)

This program aims to expand knowledge in modern administration and management techniques, so as to enable organizations to cope with social, political, economic and technological changes of the present day.


17. Master of Business administration Program in Logistics and Supply chain Management.

The primary aim of this program is to produce graduates who have knowledge and understanding in the idea, theory and principle of logistics and supply chains in order to apply them in improving work process or solving problems. Graduates will not only be qualified in the particular field, but also proficient in all areas involved. They will also be trained to be farsighted, able to integrate knowledge in solving problems in their work and develop their own potential to compete in the global context.
