เมื่อวันที่ 17 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2568 มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง โดยศูนย์บริการวิชาการ ร่วมกับ สำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ สาขาวิชาอนามัยสิ่งแวดล้อม จัดการประชุมหารือเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนและคืนข้อมูลผลการดำเนินงานโครงการบริการวิชาการบูรณาการเชิงพื้นที่ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม ให้แก่องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแม่ข้าวต้ม อำเภอเมืองเชียงราย จังหวัดเชียงราย ณ องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแม่ข้าวต้ม โดยมีผู้บริหารและผู้แทนจากทั้งสองหน่วยงานเข้าร่วมประชุม อาทิ นายณรงค์ การ่อแก้ว ปลัดองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแม่ข้าวต้ม นางกาญจนา วรรณโอภาส หัวหน้าสำนักปลัด รวมถึงบุคลากรด้านการประชาสัมพันธ์และสาธารณสุขขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแม่ข้าวต้ม
ในการนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ณัฐพล รังสฤษฎ์วรการ รักษาการแทนผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการศูนย์บริการวิชาการ และผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.นพฤทธิ์ สุทธศิลป์ หัวหน้าโครงการ พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์บริการวิชาการ ได้ร่วมกันนำเสนอผลการดำเนินงาน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงพื้นที่ และแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นกับหน่วยงานท้องถิ่น เพื่อกำหนดแนวทางการบริหารจัดการขยะมูลฝอยของตำบลแม่ข้าวต้มให้มีความเหมาะสม สอดคล้องกับบริบทของพื้นที่ และสามารถนำไปใช้ในการวางแผนพัฒนาท้องถิ่นและการตัดสินใจเชิงนโยบายได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
โครงการดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของแผนงานโครงการบริการวิชาการบูรณาการเชิงพื้นที่ ระยะ 3 ปี (พ.ศ. 2567–2569) ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับ แผนยุทธศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงด้านการบริการวิชาการเพื่อการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นอย่างยั่งยืน โดยมุ่งบูรณาการองค์ความรู้ทางวิชาการร่วมกับภาคีเครือข่ายในพื้นที่ เพื่อเสริมสร้างศักยภาพชุมชนในการจัดการทรัพยากรและสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ อีกทั้งยังสอดคล้องกับ เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs) ได้แก่

SDG 12 การผลิตและการบริโภคที่ยั่งยืน
SDG 17 ความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน
ทั้งนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงและองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแม่ข้าวต้มจะร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อพัฒนาระบบการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยอย่างยั่งยืน ลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม และยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนในพื้นที่ให้สอดคล้องกับทิศทางการพัฒนาประเทศและสังคมในระยะยาว
Mae Fah Luang University Returns Project Findings on Integrated Environmental Academic Services to Support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
On 17 December 2025, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through the Center for Academic Services, in collaboration with the Environmental Health Program, School of Health Science, convened a meeting to present and return the findings of the Integrated Area-Based Environmental Academic Service Project to Mae Khao Tom Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province. The meeting was held at Mae Khao Tom Subdistrict Administrative Organization and attended by executives and representatives from both institutions.
Participants from the local authority included Mr. Narong Karnkaew, Permanent Secretary of Mae Khao Tom Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Ms. Kanjana Wannopas, Head of the Office of the Permanent Secretary, along with public relations and public health officers. The MFU delegation was led by Asst. Prof.Nattaphon Rangsaritvorakarn, Acting Assistant Director of the Center for Academic Service , and Assistant
Professor Dr. Noppharit Sutthasil,, Project Leader, together with staff from the Academic Service Center.
This project forms part of MFU’s three-year Integrated Area-Based Academic Service Plan (2024–2026) and aligns with the University’s strategic direction on academic services for sustainable local development. The initiative emphasizes the integration of academic knowledge with local partnerships to strengthen community capacity in environmental and resource management. Furthermore, the project contributes directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:

Mae Fah Luang University and Mae Khao Tom Subdistrict Administrative Organization will continue to collaborate in advancing sustainable waste management practices, reducing environmental impacts, and enhancing the quality of life of local residents in line with long-term national and global sustainable development agendas.
