วันจันทร์ที่ 12 มกราคม 2569 มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง โดยศูนย์บริการวิชาการ ร่วมกับ องค์การบริหารการพัฒนาพื้นที่พิเศษเพื่อการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน (องค์การมหาชน) จัดกิจกรรม ฝึกปฏิบัติและส่งมอบต้นแบบการแก้ไขปัญหาภัยพิบัติบ้านห้วยหินลาดใน ภายใต้กิจกรรมพัฒนาการยกระดับศักยภาพนักออกแบบ เพื่อสนับสนุนการแก้ไขปัญหาภัยพิบัติของเมืองสร้างสรรค์เชียงรายอย่างยั่งยืน ณ บ้านห้วยหินลาดใน อำเภอเวียงป่าเป้า จังหวัดเชียงราย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ เสริมสร้างกระบวนการเรียนรู้เชิงปฏิบัติการ และส่งมอบต้นแบบเครื่องมือที่สามารถนำไปใช้ในการรับมือและลดผลกระทบจากภัยพิบัติในระดับชุมชนได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวดำเนินการโดยคณะทำงานจากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิลาวัณย์ จำปาแก้ว หัวหน้าโครงการ และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พฤทธิ์ พุฒจร คณะทำงาน พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่จากศูนย์บริการวิชาการ ซึ่งได้ร่วมถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และจัดกิจกรรมฝึกปฏิบัติการใช้ต้นแบบการแก้ไขปัญหาภัยพิบัติให้แก่กลุ่มเยาวชนและประชาชนในชุมชน อาทิ เกมกระเป๋ายังชีพ การ์ดคลิกขลุ่ย (Kli Kui Card) ผ้าพันคอลายแผนที่ ย่ามยังชีพแบบกะเหรี่ยง และนกหวีดเต่าปูลู โดยต้นแบบดังกล่าวได้รับการออกแบบผ่านกระบวนการคิดเชิงออกแบบ (Design Thinking) ที่บูรณาการภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น อัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรม และองค์ความรู้ด้านการจัดการภัยพิบัติ เพื่อให้สามารถนำไปใช้จริงและต่อยอดการบริหารจัดการความเสี่ยงจากภัยพิบัติได้อย่างเหมาะสมกับบริบทของพื้นที่
การดำเนินกิจกรรมครั้งนี้สะท้อนบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงในการขับเคลื่อน แผนยุทธศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยด้านการบริการวิชาการเพื่อการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นอย่างยั่งยืน ผ่านการบูรณาการองค์ความรู้ทางวิชาการร่วมกับภาคีเครือข่ายและชุมชนในพื้นที่ อีกทั้งยังสอดคล้องกับ เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs) ได้แก่ SDG 11 เมืองและชุมชนที่ยั่งยืน, SDG 13 การรับมือการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ, และ SDG 17 ความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน โดยมุ่งเสริมสร้างศักยภาพชุมชนให้สามารถพึ่งพาตนเอง ลดความเปราะบางจากภัยพิบัติ และร่วมกันพัฒนาเมืองสร้างสรรค์เชียงรายให้เติบโตอย่างเข้มแข็งและยั่งยืนในระยะยาว
Mae Fah Luang University Conducts Practical Training and Delivers Disaster Mitigation Prototypes
Strengthening Community Capacity in Ban Huai Hin Lad Nai to Support the Sustainable Development of Chiang Rai Creative City
Mae Fah Luang University, through the Center for Academic Services, organized "A Practical Training and Prototype Delivery Activity for Disaster Mitigation in Ban Huai Hin Lad Nai" under the initiative to enhance the capacity of designers in support of sustainable disaster management for Chiang Rai Creative City. The activity was held on Monday, 12 January 2026, at Ban Huai Hin Lad Nai, Wiang Pa Pao District, Chiang Rai Province. The objective of this training is to transferring knowledge, promote hands-on learning processes, and deliver prototype tools that can be practically applied to disaster preparedness and risk reduction at the community level.
The activity was carried out by a project team from Mae Fah Luang University. The project team was led by Asst. Prof.Dr. Wilawan Champakaew as Project Leader, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pruet Putjorn serving as a Project Team Member, together with staff from the Center for Academic Services. The team provided knowledge transfer and hands-on training on the use of disaster mitigation prototypes for local youth and community members. These prototypes included an emergency kit game, the Kli Kui Card, a map-pattern scarf, a Karen-style emergency shoulder bag, and the Tao Pulu whistle. All prototypes were developed through a Design Thinking process that integrates local wisdom, cultural identity, and disaster management knowledge, enabling the community to effectively apply and further develop disaster risk management practices that are appropriate to the local context.
This activity reflects Mae Fah Luang University’s role in advancing its University Strategic Plan on Academic Services for Sustainable Local Development through the integration of academic knowledge with local partnerships and community engagement. Moreover, it aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 13: Climate Action, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. The initiative aims to strengthen community self-reliance, reduce vulnerability to disasters, and collaboratively promote the sustainable and resilient development of Chiang Rai Creative City in the long term.
