สำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จัดกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านการบริหารจัดการสาธารณสุขข้ามพรมแดน โดยความร่วมมือกับมหาวิทยาลัยเครือข่ายความร่วมมือต่างประเทศชั้นนำ The University of Western Australia และ University of Oregon USA เพื่อเพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งในการดูแลสุขภาพประชากรในพื้นที่ชายแดนและอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง ระหว่างมกราคม - กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง และแหล่งเรียนรู้ตามบริบทพื้นที่ชายแดนจังหวัดเชียงราย

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวมุ่งเน้นการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ งานวิจัย และนวัตกรรมด้านสาธารณสุขข้ามพรมแดน ครอบคลุมประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่ การเฝ้าระวังและควบคุมโรคข้ามพรมแดน การดูแลสุขภาพแรงงานเคลื่อนย้าย ระบบบริการสุขภาพในพื้นที่ชายแดน และความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศในการพัฒนาสาธารณสุข รวมถึงการศึกษาดูงานในพื้นที่จริงเพื่อทำความเข้าใจบริบทและความท้าทายของการให้บริการสาธารณสุขในพื้นที่ชายแดน

MFU Hosts Cross-Border Public Health Knowledge Exchange with Leading Universities from Australia and the United States

The School of Health Science, Mae Fah Luang University, organized a cross-border public health knowledge exchange program in collaboration with leading international partner universities—the University of Western Australia and the University of Oregon, USA. The program was held from January to February 2026 at Mae Fah Luang University and selected learning sites in border areas of Chiang Rai Province.
The initiative aims to strengthen healthcare capacity for border populations and communities in the Greater Mekong Subregion through the exchange of expertise, research and practical experience.Key focus areas included cross-border disease surveillance and control, migrant healthcare, health service systems in border areas, and international cooperation in public health development. Participants also engaged in field visits to gain firsthand insights into local contexts and challenges in delivering public health services in border communities.

This initiative underscores Mae Fah Luang University's role as a leading academic institution with specialized expertise in border public health and Greater Mekong Subregion development. The program establishes an international partnership to sustainably elevate the quality of healthcare for cross-border populations.
