มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงและธนาคารกรุงไทยหารือความเป็นไปได้ในการร่วมมือทางวิชาการ โดยมีผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มัชฌิมา นราดิศร อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง พร้อมด้วยรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ดรุณี วัฒนศิริเวช รองอธิการบดี อาจารย์ ดร.ปิยธิดา เพียรลุประสิทธิ์ คณบดีสำนักวิชาการจัดการ และคณะผู้บริหาร ให้การต้อนรับ

โดยคณะผู้บริหารจากบริษัทมหาชนจำกัด ธนาคารกรุงไทย นำโดยนายกมล ธนนิธาพร ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ และนายไชยะนันท์ ธาราสุข ผู้อำนวยการฝ่าย Segmentation พร้อมทีมงานกว่า 13 คน เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสองสถาบัน เมื่อวันที่ 2 ธันวาคม 2568 เวลา 09.00 น. ที่ห้องประชุมดอยตุง อาคารวันชัย ศิริชนะ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง

ทั้งนี้ธนาคารกรุงไทยเล็งเห็นถึงศักยภาพและความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการของมหาวิทยาลัย จึงได้เกิดการหารือขึ้นในครั้งนี้ หวังที่จะเปิดโอกาสในการพัฒนาศักยภาพนักศึกษาให้พร้อมสำหรับการทำงานในภาคธุรกิจการเงินและการธนาคารซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในอุตสาหกรรมสำคัญของประเทศ

การหารือครอบคลุม 5 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ การพัฒนาศักยภาพนักศึกษาผ่านโครงการต่างๆ เช่น Part-time, Internship และ Hackathon การอบรมให้ความรู้แก่นิสิต อาจารย์ และบุคลากร การแบ่งปันความเชี่ยวชาญในการพัฒนาบุคลากร โซลูชันทางการเงิน และการวิจัยด้านเศรษฐกิจและสังคมเกี่ยวกับประเทศไทย

ความร่วมมือดังกล่าวคาดว่าจะเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้รับประสบการณ์จริงในสถาบันการเงินชั้นนำ พัฒนาทักษะที่จำเป็นสำหรับการทำงาน เรียนรู้จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญในวงการ และสร้างเครือข่ายในอุตสาหกรรมการเงินการธนาคาร ซึ่งจะช่วยเสริมสร้างความพร้อมและเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของบัณฑิตในตลาดแรงงาน พร้อมยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของภาคธุรกิจและสังคม

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงและธนาคารกรุงไทยร่วมหารือความร่วมมือเชิงพันธมิตร โดย มฟล. เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเดียวในภาคเหนือที่ได้รับเลือก ครอบคลุม 5 ด้าน ได้แก่ พัฒนาบุคลากรและเปิดโอกาสฝึกงานแบบ Project-based พร้อมพี่เลี้ยงผู้บริหาร เสริมความรู้การเงินแก่นักศึกษาและชุมชน ช่วยเหลือชุมชนด้วยนวัตกรรมเทคโนโลยี นำเสนอแอป Krungthai Campus ฟรีสำหรับบริหารจัดการองค์กร และ สนับสนุนวิจัย-Startup ผ่านกองทุน Venture Capital พร้อมจัด Hackathon ทั้งสองฝ่ายตกลงจัดทำ MOU เพื่อขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมืออย่างเป็นรูปธรรม มุ่งสร้างสะพานเชื่อมนักศึกษากับโอกาสการทำงานเพื่อพัฒนาสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน

MFU and Krungthai Bank Discuss Academic Collaboration in Finance and Banking

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) and Krungthai Bank explored opportunities for potential academic partnership. Assistant Professor Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, President of MFU, along with Associate Professor Dr. Darunee Wattanasirivech, Vice President, Dr. Piyatida Pianluprasidh, Dean of the School of Management, and the executive team members, formally welcomed the delegation.

The visiting delegation from Krungthai Bank Public Company Limited was led by Mr. Kamol Tananitaporn, Senior Assistant Managing Director, and Mr. Chaiyanan Tarasuk, Director of Segmentation Division, accompanied by a team of over 13 members. The meeting was held on December 2, 2025, at 9:00 AM, in the Doi Tung Meeting Room, Vanchai Sirichana Building, Mae Fah Luang University.

Recognizing MFU’s academic excellence, Krungthai Bank initiated this discussion with the aim of creating opportunities to enhance students' capabilities. The goal is to comprehensively prepare students for careers in the financial and banking sector, which remains one of the country's key industries.

The discussion focused on five key areas: student capability development through various programs such as part-time work schemes, internships, and hackathons; training programs for students, faculty, and staff; sharing expertise in personnel development; exploring financial solutions; and conducting joint research focused on Thailand's economy and society.

This collaboration is expected to provide students with invaluable real-world experience at a leading financial institution. It will enable them to develop essential workplace skills, learn directly from industry experts, and build professional networks in the banking and finance industry. Ultimately, this effort will strengthen graduates' readiness and boost their competitiveness in the job market, while elevating the quality of education to align with the evolving needs of the business sector and society.

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) and Krungthai Bank held discussions on a strategic partnership, with MFU selected as the only university in Northern Thailand to participate in this initiative. The collaboration encompasses five key areas: developing human resources and expanding project-based internship opportunities with executive mentorship; improving financial literacy for students and communities; supporting community development through technological innovation; offering the Krungthai Campus application free of charge to enhance organizational management; and promoting research and startup growth through Venture Capital funding and Hackathons. Both parties have agreed to formalize the partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aiming to advance practical collaboration and create pathways that connect students with career opportunities while contributing to sustainable social development.
