ม.แม่ฟ้าหลวง ร่วม "หน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่สิงห์อาสา" ให้บริการสุขภาพชุมชนห่างไกล

สำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์และสำนักวิชาทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง นำบุคลากรและนักศึกษา ร่วมกับบริษัท บุญรอดบริวเวอรี่ จำกัด จัดโครงการ "หน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่สิงห์อาสา" ให้บริการตรวจสุขภาพและคัดกรองโรคแก่ประชาชนในพื้นที่ทุรกันดาร ณ โรงเรียนผาขวางวิทยา อำเภอเมืองเชียงราย วันเสาร์ที่ 13 ธันวาคม 2568

โครงการดังกล่าวนำทีมแพทย์ นักศึกษาแพทย์ และบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ออกให้บริการตรวจสุขภาพทั่วไปและตรวจคัดกรองมะเร็งเต้านมแก่ประชาชน เด็กนักเรียน และผู้ด้อยโอกาสในชุมชนห่างไกล พร้อมให้คำแนะนำด้านสุขภาพอนามัย

การลงพื้นที่นี้เป็นโอกาสสำคัญที่นักศึกษาแพทย์และบุคลากรได้รับประสบการณ์ตรงในการให้บริการสุขภาพแก่ชุมชนที่มีบริบทแตกต่างจากในห้องเรียน ได้เรียนรู้การทำงานภายใต้ข้อจำกัดของทรัพยากร เข้าใจปัญหาสุขภาพที่แท้จริงของประชาชนในพื้นที่ห่างไกล รวมถึงพัฒนาทักษะการทำงานเป็นทีมและการดูแลผู้ป่วยแบบองค์รวม ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญในการเป็นแพทย์ที่ดีและมีจิตสำนึกเพื่อสังคม

โครงการช่วยให้ประชาชนในพื้นที่ทุรกันดารเข้าถึงบริการสุขภาพได้ง่ายขึ้น สามารถค้นพบปัญหาสุขภาพในระยะเริ่มต้นและได้รับคำแนะนำที่เหมาะสม ลดภาระค่าใช้จ่ายในระยะยาว การให้ความรู้ด้านสุขภาพอนามัยยังช่วยสร้างพฤติกรรมสุขภาพที่ดีในชุมชน นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้เด็กและเยาวชนในพื้นที่มุ่งมั่นศึกษาต่อในสายวิชาชีพที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคม

การดำเนินงานนี้เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาและภาคเอกชนในการดูแลสุขภาพประชาชนในพื้นที่ห่างไกล พร้อมปลูกฝังจิตสำนึกการเป็นแพทย์เพื่อสังคมให้กับนักศึกษา เพื่อลดความเหลื่อมล้ำในการเข้าถึงบริการสุขภาพอย่างทั่วถึงและเท่าเทียม

MFU Joins "Singha Volunteer Mobile Medical Unit" to Provide Healthcare Services to Remote Communities

The School of Medicine and School of Dentistry, Mae Fah Luang University, in collaboration with Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., organized the "Singha Volunteer Mobile Medical Unit" project to provide health examinations and disease screening services to residents in remote areas at Phakhwang Wittaya School, Mueang Chiang Rai District, on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

The project mobilized a team of physicians, medical students, and healthcare personnel to deliver general health check-ups and breast cancer screening services for local residents, schoolchildren, and underprivileged groups in remote communities. Health and hygiene education was also provided to promote disease prevention and overall well-being.

This outreach initiative offered valuable hands-on learning experiences for medical students and healthcare personnel by exposing them to community contexts beyond the classroom. Participants gained practical experience working under resource constraints, developed a deeper understanding of real health challenges faced by people in remote areas, and strengthened teamwork and holistic patient-care skills—essential foundations for becoming competent physicians with a strong sense of social responsibility.

The project also enhanced access to healthcare services for residents in remote communities, supported early detection of health problems, and provided appropriate health guidance that may help reduce long-term healthcare costs. Moreover, health education activities contributed to fostering healthier behaviors within the community. The initiative further served as a positive role model, inspiring children and youth in the area to pursue education and careers in professions that contribute to society.

This initiative reflects effective collaboration between an educational institution and the private sector in addressing healthcare needs in remote areas, while instilling social responsibility among future medical professionals and promoting more equitable access to health services.
