มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ร่วมกับโรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพสื่อมวลชนจังหวัดเชียงราย เพื่อขอบคุณสื่อมวลชนที่ร่วมเผยแพร่ข่าวสารและพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัย พร้อมบริการสุขภาพและคำปรึกษาทางการแพทย์ ณ ห้องประชุมประจวบ ภิรมย์ภักดี ชั้น 6 โรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เมื่อวันที่15 ธันวาคม 2568

โดยมีผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มัชฌิมา นราดิศร อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เป็นประธานเปิดกิจกรรม มีผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ร่มเย็น โกไศยกานนท์ รองอธิการบดี พญ.พิตะวัน ราชตา รักษาการแทนรองผู้อำนวยกลุ่มงานการแพทย์ พทป.พัชรพรรณ แสงอินทร์ รักษาการแทนหัวหน้างานการแพทย์บูรณาการ ร่วมให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการให้บริการด้านสุขภาพของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง

ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มัชฌิมา นราดิศร อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง กล่าวว่า โรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงเป็นโรงพยาบาลของประชาชนของชาวเชียงราย ก่อสร้างด้วยงบประมาณรวมกว่า 4,000 ล้านบาท จากงบประมาณแผ่นดินและการบริจาคของประชาชนที่ต้องการมีส่วนร่วมในการยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้คน

"พันธกิจสำคัญคือการรับใช้ประชาชน จากเชียงรายก่อนขยายบริการสู่พื้นที่จังหวัดใกล้เคียงและอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง ตามแนวคิดของ ศาสตราจารย์พิเศษ ดร.วันชัย ศิริชนะ อธิการบดีผู้ก่อตั้งและนายกสภามหาวิทยาลัย ที่ให้หลักการว่า 'จะไม่มีผู้ป่วยคนใดถูกปฏิเสธการรักษาเพราะความยากจน'" อธิการบดีกล่าว

อธิการบดีเน้นว่า เนื่องจากเชียงรายเป็นพื้นที่ชายแดนที่มีความสำคัญเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยจึงมองบทบาทการแพทย์เกินกว่าการรักษาโรค โดยพัฒนาการศึกษาควบคู่สาธารณสุข และใช้เป็นเครื่องมือสร้างมิตรภาพ ความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี และอนาคตที่ยั่งยืนร่วมกัน ผ่านการให้โอกาสทางการศึกษาและการดูแลสุขภาพแก่ประชาชนในอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง เพื่อสร้างสะพานแห่งความเข้าใจและความร่วมมือที่ยั่งยืนระหว่างประเทศ

"การศึกษาและสาธารณสุขคือกุญแจสำคัญในการสร้างมิตรภาพไร้พรมแดน เมื่อเราให้โอกาสทางการศึกษาและดูแลสุขภาพของประชาชนในภูมิภาค เราไม่เพียงแต่ช่วยยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิต แต่ยังสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีและความไว้วางใจระหว่างกัน ซึ่งเป็นรากฐานของสันติภาพและความมั่นคงในภูมิภาค" อธิการบดีกล่าว

ปัจจุบันมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงให้บริการด้านสุขภาพภายใต้แนวคิด 3Ps: Promotion, Prevention, Prediction (ส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ป้องกันโรค คาดการณ์ความเสี่ยง) ผ่านศูนย์บริการสุขภาพแบบครบวงจรแห่งภาคเหนือและอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ําโขง คลินิกทันตกรรม โรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง คลินิกพิเศษโดยแพทย์เฉพาะทาง และบริการบูรณาการแพทย์ปัจจุบันกับแพทย์แผนไทยและจีน

นอกจากนี้ยังดำเนินโครงการแพทย์อาสาบรมราชกุมารี เพื่อให้ประชาชนในถิ่นทุรกันดารเข้าถึงบริการทางการแพทย์ พร้อมพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรและยกระดับมาตรฐานสู่สากลผ่านความร่วมมือกับสถาบันชั้นนำ อาทิ Oregon Health and Science University สหรัฐอเมริกา และ Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน

มหาวิทยาลัยวางแผนขยายบริการในช่วง 5 ปี (พ.ศ. 2569-2573) ครอบคลุมคลินิกศัลยศาสตร์หลอดเลือด ศูนย์ฟื้นฟูระบบประสาท ศูนย์โรคเบาหวาน และคลินิกพิเศษอื่นๆ พร้อมจัดตั้งศูนย์แพทยศาสตรศึกษาชั้นคลินิกที่โรงพยาบาลน่าน และขยายเครือข่ายไปยังสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว

"มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงจะบรรลุเป้าหมายด้วยการมีส่วนร่วมและพลังใจจากประชาชนจากชาวเชียงราย ในการสานต่อพระราชปณิธาน 'ปลูกป่า สร้างคน' ด้วยการพัฒนาสู่ศูนย์การแพทย์ระดับภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง Regional Medical Hub ที่ดูแลประชาชนทุกช่วงวัยอย่างเท่าเทียม ภายใต้แนวคิด 'Driving Force for Well-Being and Sustainable Future' เพื่อขับเคลื่อนสังคมและภูมิภาคสู่ความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีและอนาคตที่ยั่งยืน" อธิการบดีกล่าว

MFU Advances Toward a Mekong Regional Medical Hub—
Education and Healthcare for Friendship Without Borders,
Never Denying Patients Due to Poverty
Mae Fah Luang University, in collaboration with Mae Fah Luang University Medical Center, organized a health promotion activity for Chiang Rai media representatives on December 15, 2025, at the Prachuap Bhirombhakdi Meeting Room, 6th Floor, Mae Fah Luang University Medical Center. The event aimed to express appreciation to local media for their continued support in disseminating the university's mission and public initiatives, while also providing health screening services and medical consultations.

The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, President of Mae Fah Luang University, and attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Vice President, Dr. Pitawan Rajchata, Acting Deputy Director of Medical Services Group, and Dr. Patcharaphan Saeng-in, Acting Head of Integrative Medicine Unit, who jointly shared information on Mae Fah Luang University's health services.

Assistant Professor Dr. Matchima Naradisorn stated that MFU Medical Center was established as a hospital for the people of Chiang Rai, with a total investment of over 4 billion baht from government funding and public donations, reflecting the collective commitment to improve the quality of life and well-being of the community.

“Our primary mission is to serve the people–beginning in Chiang Rai and gradually expanding our services to neighboring provinces and the Mekong Subregion, " she said. “This vision follows the guiding principle of Professor Dr. Vanchai Sirichana, Founding President and Chair of the University Council, who firmly believed that 'no patient should ever be denied medical care due to poverty.”

The President emphasized that given Chiang Rai’s strategic location as a border province, MFU views healthcare as extending beyond clinical treatment. The university integrates education and public health as strategic tools to promote well-being, mutual understanding, and long-term cooperation among countries in the Mekong Subregion.

"Education and healthcare are fundamental to building friendship without borders,” she noted. “By expanding access to learning opportunities and quality medical care, we not only enhance people’s quality of life but also foster mutual trust and positive relationships–essential foundations for peace and regional stability."

Currently, MFU delivers healthcare services under the 3Ps framework: Promotion, Prevention, and Prediction, through a comprehensive healthcare center, dental services, specialized clinics, and integrated medical services combining modern medicine with Thai and Chinese traditional medicine.

Additionally, the university operates the Princess Mother Volunteer Medical Project, which provides medical services to underserved and remote communities.MFU also continues to strengthen its human resource capacity and elevate healthcare standards through international collaborations with leading institutions such as Oregon Health and Science University (USA), United States, and Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine (People's Republic of China).

Looking ahead, MFU plans to expand its medical services over the next five years (2026-2030), including the establishment of a vascular surgery clinic, a neurological rehabilitation center, a diabetes center, and other specialized clinics. The university also aims to establish a Clinical Medical Education Center at Nan Hospital and extends its healthcare network to the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
