มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) จัดการประชุมหารือเพื่อจัดทำโครงการยกระดับการบริการทางการแพทย์ของสำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์และโรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เมื่อวันที่ 9 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ ห้องประชุมดอยตุง อาคารวันชัย ศิริชนะ และห้องประชุม MD-935 อาคารสำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์ โดยมีผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการแพทย์และผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยเข้าร่วมหารืออย่างพร้อมเพรียง

การประชุมครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก ศ.คลินิกเกียรติคุณ นพ.อุดม คชินทร ที่ปรึกษาสภามหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ และ ศ.นพ.สุรเดช หงส์อิง วิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ เข้าร่วมหารือกับ ผศ.ดร.มัชฌิมา นราดิศร อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์สำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์

การหารือในช่วงเช้าครอบคลุมประเด็นสำคัญ 2 หัวข้อ ได้แก่ แนวทางการจัดทำข้อตกลงความร่วมมือโครงการยกระดับการบริการทางการแพทย์ และการเตรียมความพร้อมด้านบุคลากรและสิ่งสนับสนุน ต่อมาในช่วงบ่าย ผศ.ดร.นพ.ปวีณ ตั้งจิตต์พิสุทธิ์ ได้นำเสนอโครงการจัดตั้งศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศทางการแพทย์ด้านการควบคุมโรคแห่งอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง (CDC-GMS) ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในทิศทางเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ที่ มฟล. มุ่งพัฒนาในฐานะมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญด้านอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง

คณะผู้เข้าร่วมยังได้เยี่ยมชมพื้นที่สำคัญภายในสำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์และโรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์ มฟล. ประกอบด้วย ห้องปฏิบัติการวิจัยชั้น 12 ห้องตรวจแผนกอายุรกรรม ห้องปฏิบัติการอณูชีววิทยา และแผนกรังสีวิทยา เพื่อรับทราบศักยภาพของโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่มีอยู่และพิจารณาแนวทางพัฒนาต่อยอด

มฟล. มุ่งพัฒนาสำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์และโรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์ให้เป็นศูนย์กลางบริการสุขภาพและการวิจัยทางการแพทย์ที่มีมาตรฐานระดับสูง สอดคล้องกับพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยในการเป็นสถาบันการศึกษานานาชาติที่ตอบสนองความต้องการด้านสุขภาพของประชาชนในภูมิภาค

MFU Hosts Strategic Consultation to Enhance Medical Services with National Experts

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) held a strategic consultation meeting to develop a medical service enhancement project for the School of Medicine and MFU Medical Center Hospital on June 9, 2026, at the Doi Tung Meeting Room, Vanchai Sirichana Building, and Meeting Room MD-935, School of Medicine Building. The meeting brought together leading national medical experts and senior university administrators to strengthen the institution's healthcare capabilities and regional medical leadership.

The consultation was led by Clinical Professor Emeritus Dr. Udom Kachinthon, Distinguished Advisor to the University Council, and Professor Dr. Suradej Hongeng, as expert resource persons. They engaged in discussions with Assistant Professor Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, MFU President, and senior administrators and faculty members from the School of Medicine and MFU Medical Center Hospital.

Morning discussions addressed two key areas: the framework for a memorandum of understanding on the medical service enhancement initiative, and the preparation of personnel and institutional support systems. The afternoon session featured a presentation by Assistant Professor Dr. Paween Tangchitpisut on the proposed establishment of a Center of Excellence in Disease Control for the Greater Mekong Subregion (CDC-GMS), reflecting MFU's strategic commitment to regional health leadership.

The experts also toured key facilities within the School of Medicine and MFU Medical Center Hospital, including the 12th-floor research laboratories, the internal medicine examination rooms, the molecular biology laboratory, and the radiology department — gaining firsthand insight into the university's existing strengths and areas for further development.

The consultation marked a significant step in MFU's ongoing efforts to position its School of Medicine and Medical Center Hospital as a leading center for healthcare services and medical research in the Greater Mekong Subregion.
