มฟล. ร่วมกับ สถานกงสุลอินเดียประจำจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จัดการบรรยายพิเศษ "Growth of India over the Last Decade – From Fragility to Frontier Power" จากก้าวแรกสู่การเป็นมหาอำนาจของโลก

   มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) โดย ส่วนพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ (Global Relations Division) ร่วมกับ สถานกงสุลอินเดีย ประจำจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จัดการบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ "Growth of India over the Last Decade – From Fragility to Frontier Power" โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นายประณพ คเณศ กงสุลอินเดียประจำจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นวิทยากร ซึ่งมีประสบการณ์การทำงานในกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของอินเดียมากกว่า 20 ปี โดยเคยปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูตและสถานกงสุลใหญ่ในประเทศต่าง ๆ ทั่วโลก ทั้งนี้ มีคณะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ พนักงาน นักศึกษา และผู้สนใจ เข้ารับฟังการบรรยายในวันศุกร์ที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ ห้องประดู่แดง 1 อาคารพลเอกสำเภา ชูศรี มฟล.

   การบรรยายครั้งนี้ เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ Global Perspective ที่มีเป้าหมายเพื่อเปิดมุมมองและขยายวิสัยทัศน์ในระดับสากลให้แก่บุคลากรและนักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัย รวมทั้งประชาชนในพื้นที่จังหวัดเชียงราย ผ่านการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้โดยตรงกับผู้นำและผู้เชี่ยวชาญในระดับนานาชาติ การบรรยายนี้จะช่วยให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้รับความรู้เชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับจุดแข็งและยุทธศาสตร์ที่สำคัญของประเทศอินเดีย ตลอดจนเป็นเวทีในการส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการและการพัฒนาความร่วมมือที่ยั่งยืนร่วมกัน

   "Growth of India over the Last Decade – From Fragility to Frontier Power" เป็นหัวข้อการบรรยายที่มุ่งนำเสนอการเปลี่ยนแปลงของอินเดียในหลากหลายมิติตลอดช่วง 12 ปีที่ผ่านมา โดยครอบคลุมประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่:
-การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางเศรษฐกิจ: อินเดียก้าวจากกลุ่มประเทศ “Fragile Five” หรือกลุ่ม 5 ประเทศเศรษฐกิจเกิดใหม่ที่มีความเปราะบางทางเศรษฐกิจ สู่การเป็นประเทศที่มีขนาดเศรษฐกิจใหญ่เป็นอันดับ 5 ของโลก
-ความก้าวหน้าด้านเทคโนโลยีและโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน: เจาะลึกพัฒนาการของโครงสร้างพื้นฐานสาธารณะดิจิทัล (Digital Public Infrastructure: DPI) ของอินเดีย
-การเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน: ความสำเร็จของอินเดียในการทำให้เศรษฐกิจเติบโตควบคู่ไปกับการลดการเพิ่มขึ้นของการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก
-พลังความร่วมมือระหว่างอินเดียและไทย: โอกาสความร่วมมือทวิภาคีที่มีมูลค่าสูง ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับนโยบาย “Act East” ของอินเดีย และ “Look West” ของไทย อาทิ ทางหลวงไตรภาคี (Trilateral Highway) การเชื่อมโยงระบบ UPI–PromptPay และการเชื่อมโยงแนวคิด LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) ของอินเดียเข้ากับ โมเดลเศรษฐกิจ BCG ของไทย

MFU and Consulate of India Co-host Special Lecture on India’s Decade of Transformation 

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through its Global Relations Division, in collaboration with the Consulate of India in Chiang Mai, hosted a special lecture titled “Growth of India over the Last Decade – From Fragility to Frontier Power” on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Pradoo Daeng Room 1, General Sampao Choosri Building, MFU. 

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Pranav Ganesh, Consul of India in Chiang Mai, a senior diplomat with over 20 years of extensive experience at India’s Ministry of External Affairs, serving at embassies and consulates general worldwide.    The event drew strong interest from university executives, faculty, staff, students, and the local community. .
Part of MFU’s Global Perspective series, the event aims to broaden the international horizons of MFU staff and students, as well as the local Chiang Rai community, through direct engagement with international leaders and experts, fostering academic exchange and sustainable partnerships. 

During the lecture, Mr. Ganesh highlighted India’s transformation over the past 12 years—from a "Fragile Five" economy to the world’s fifth-largest—driven by leaps in Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and sustainable growth. He also emphasized India-Thailand synergy, pointing to high-value opportunities that align India’s "Act East" policy with Thailand’s "Look West" policy, including the Trilateral Highway, UPI–PromptPay integration, and the alignment of India’s LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) movement with Thailand’s BCG Economic Model.

Through this special lecture, participants gained valuable insights into India’s remarkable economic, technological, infrastructural, and sustainable development over the past decade, while also exploring opportunities to strengthen academic and strategic cooperation between India and Thailand.
