มฟล. จัดปฐมนิเทศนักศึกษาต่างชาติใหม่ ปีการศึกษา 2569

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) โดยส่วนพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ จัดกิจกรรมปฐมนิเทศนักศึกษาต่างชาติใหม่ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2569 เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 14 สิงหาคม 2569 ณ อาคาร C4 มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมนักศึกษาต่างชาติก่อนเริ่มการเรียนอย่างเป็นทางการ

ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.กรกช จันทร์เสรีวิทยา ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง กล่าวต้อนรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติใหม่ในนามผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และนักศึกษามฟล.

"การมาศึกษาต่อในต่างประเทศเป็นทั้งความท้าทายและโอกาส เป็นช่วงเวลาแห่งการเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ พบปะผู้คนต่างวัฒนธรรม และค้นพบโอกาสใหม่ ๆ ขอให้นักศึกษาใช้เวลาที่นี่อย่างเต็มที่ ทั้งในห้องเรียนและผ่านกิจกรรม มิตรภาพ และประสบการณ์ที่จะช่วยหล่อหลอมให้เติบโตเป็นพลเมืองโลก" ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.กรกช กล่าว

ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีมฟล. กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า มฟล. ภาคภูมิใจในความเป็นประชาคมนานาชาติ นักศึกษาจากหลากหลายประเทศได้มาเรียนรู้และสร้างความสัมพันธ์ร่วมกัน ความหลากหลายนี้ถือเป็นจุดแข็งของมหาวิทยาลัย และหวังว่านักศึกษาจะได้รับการต้อนรับและการสนับสนุนตลอดระยะเวลาที่ศึกษาอยู่ที่นี่

"ขอให้นักศึกษากล้าตั้งคำถาม เปิดใจกว้าง และมั่นใจ อย่ากลัวที่จะขอความช่วยเหลือเมื่อจำเป็น และใช้ประโยชน์จากโอกาสต่าง ๆ ให้เต็มที่ คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และส่วนพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศพร้อมสนับสนุนอยู่เสมอ" ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.กรกช กล่าวทิ้งท้าย

ปีการศึกษา 2569 มฟล. มีนักศึกษาต่างชาติเข้าใหม่รวม 499 คน แบ่งเป็นระดับปริญญาตรี 397 คน จาก 22 ประเทศ ปริญญาโท 47 คน จาก 14 ประเทศ และปริญญาเอก 55 คน โดยระดับปริญญาตรีมีนักศึกษาจากเมียนมามากที่สุด รองลงมาคืออินโดนีเซียและญี่ปุ่น

กิจกรรมนี้เป็นลำดับที่ 4 ในชุดกิจกรรมต้อนรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติใหม่ 7 กิจกรรม ระหว่างเดือนสิงหาคม-กันยายน 2569 ต่อจาก MFU Campus Tour and Meet & Greet with Buddy (7 สิงหาคม) และ Thai Cultural Workshop (8 สิงหาคม)

ส่วนพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศจะจัดกิจกรรมต้อนรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติใหม่ต่อเนื่องตลอดเดือนสิงหาคม-กันยายน 2569 ได้แก่ Myanmar Freshers' Welcome (23-24 สิงหาคม) International Scholarship Students Meet the President (27 สิงหาคม) และ Workshop on Coffee (5 กันยายน) เพื่อสนับสนุนการปรับตัวของนักศึกษาต่างชาติสู่การใช้ชีวิตในมหาวิทยาลัย

MFU Holds Orientation for New International Students, Academic Year 2026
.
Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through its Global Relations Division (GRD), held the Orientation for New International Students for Academic Year 2026 on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the C4 Auditorium,  to prepare newly enrolled international students before the official start of classes.

Assistant Professor. Dr. Korakot Chansareewittaya, Assistant to the President,  delivered welcome remarks on behalf of the university's administrators, faculty, staff, and students.  She highlighted MFU’s pride in its diverse international community and reassured students of full support throughout their academic journey.

"Studying abroad offers both exciting challenges and opportunities to experience new cultures. I encourage you to make the most of your time here through academics, activities, and friendships to grow as global citizens. Be curious, open-minded, and confident, knowing that our faculty, staff, and the Global Relations Division are always here to support you,"  said Asst. Prof. Dr. Korakot.

For Academic Year 2026, MFU has welcomed 499 new international students, comprising 397 undergraduate students from 22 countries, 47 master's students from 14 countries, and 55 doctoral students. At the undergraduate level, the largest  student group comes from Myanmar, followed by Indonesia and Japan.

This orientation was the fourth in a series of seven welcome events for new international students, organized by the GRD from August to September 2026, following the MFU Campus Tour and Meet & Greet with Buddy (August 7) and the Thai Cultural Workshop (August 8 ).

Upcoming events include the Myanmar Freshers' Welcome (August 23–24), International Scholarship Students Meet the President (August 27), and a Workshop on Coffee (September 5), to help students transition smoothly to university life.
