มฟล. จัดพิธีถวายสัตย์ปฏิญาณฯ และพิธีไหว้ครู รับลูกศิษย์ใหม่ ปีการศึกษา 2569

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) โดยส่วนพัฒนานักศึกษา จัดพิธีถวายสัตย์ปฏิญาณต่อพระราชานุสาวรีย์ สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี และพิธีไหว้ครูและรับเป็นลูกศิษย์ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2569 ในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 6 สิงหาคม 2569 เวลา 08.00-13.00 น. ณ ลานเฉลิมพระเกียรติ สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี และหอประชุมสมเด็จย่า (C4) เพื่อปลูกฝังความภาคภูมิใจในความเป็นนักศึกษามฟล. น้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ และให้นักศึกษาแสดงความเคารพ กตัญญูกตเวทีต่อครูอาจารย์

พิธีเริ่มเวลา 08.00-08.30 น. ด้วยพิธีถวายสัตย์ปฏิญาณต่อพระราชานุสาวรีย์ สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี จากนั้นนักศึกษาพร้อมกัน ณ หอประชุมสมเด็จย่า ก่อนเข้าสู่พิธีไหว้ครูและรับเป็นลูกศิษย์ เวลา 09.00-13.00 น. โดยมีขบวนอัญเชิญตุงพระราชทานและตราประจำมหาวิทยาลัย พิธีจุดธูปเทียนบูชาพระรัตนตรัยและเครื่องทองน้อยถวายสักการะ ตามด้วยพิธีไหว้ครู ซึ่งผู้แทนนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 นำกล่าวคำไหว้ครูและมอบพานไหว้ครูแด่ศาสตราจารย์พิเศษ ดร.วันชัย ศิริชนะ นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มัชฌิมา นราดิศร อธิการบดี คณะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์

ในพิธีรับเป็นลูกศิษย์ อธิการบดีจุดเทียนสัญลักษณ์ นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยและอธิการบดีเจิมหนังสือ พร้อมเจิมหน้าผากให้นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 จากนั้นมีพิธีมอบเกียรติบัตรแก่นักศึกษาผู้มีผลการเรียนดีเด่นและนักศึกษาผู้สร้างชื่อเสียงให้มหาวิทยาลัย ประจำปีการศึกษา 2568 ก่อนเข้าสู่พิธีกล่าวคำปฏิญาณตน โดยชินวร ฑีฆะวัฒนากร นายกองค์การบริหาร องค์การนักศึกษา นำนักศึกษากล่าวคำปฏิญาณ

ช่วงท้าย ศาสตราจารย์พิเศษ ดร.วันชัย กล่าวให้โอวาทว่า พิธีไหว้ครูเป็นประเพณีอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่มหาวิทยาลัยยึดถือปฏิบัติสืบเนื่องมา สะท้อนความตั้งใจของนักศึกษาที่จะเข้าเป็นศิษย์และความพร้อมของคณาจารย์ที่จะรับเป็นลูกศิษย์ คำกล่าวไหว้ครูซึ่งตนเป็นผู้ประพันธ์ขึ้นเองนั้น สื่อถึงความเคารพต่อผู้ประสิทธิ์ประสาทวิชาความรู้และคุณธรรม เปรียบเสมือนคำปฏิญาณตนที่นักศึกษาจะยึดถือเป็นแนวทางดำเนินชีวิตจนสำเร็จการศึกษา

พร้อมกล่าวถึงความเป็นมาของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงที่ใช้สมัญญานามของสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี เพื่อเป็นอนุสรณ์แห่งความจงรักภักดีและตอบแทนพระคุณงามความดีที่พระองค์ทรงมีต่อประชาชน ก่อนอวยพรให้นักศึกษาทุกคนประสบความสำเร็จ เป็นคนดี และมีความสุข

พิธีไหว้ครูเป็นประเพณีสำคัญของสถาบันการศึกษาไทย เพื่อให้นักศึกษาแสดงความเคารพและระลึกถึงพระคุณครูอาจารย์ ควบคู่กับการปลูกฝังจิตสำนึกความเป็นนักศึกษามฟล. ตั้งแต่เริ่มต้นการศึกษา มฟล. จัดกิจกรรมนี้เป็นประจำทุกปีการศึกษา เพื่อเสริมสร้างความผูกพันระหว่างครูอาจารย์และศิษย์ อันเป็นรากฐานสำคัญของการเรียนรู้ตลอดหลักสูตร

MFU Holds Oath-Taking and Wai Khru Ceremony for Academic Year 2026

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through its Division of Student Development, held an Oath-Taking Ceremony before the HRH Princess Srinagarindra Monumentand a Wai Khru (Teacher Appreciation Ceremony) to formally welcome new students for Academic Year 2026.

The event took place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the HRH Princess Srinagarindra Monument and the Somdej Ya Auditorium (C4). The ceremony aimed to instill pride in  the MFU identity, honor the late Princess Mother's grace, and encourage students to show respect and gratitude toward their teachers.

The program began with the oath-taking rite before the Princess Mother's monument. Students then gathered at the Somdej Ya Auditorium for the Wai Khru ceremony from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., which opened with a procession carrying the royally bestowed Tung (traditional Lanna flag) and the university emblem, followed by a candle- and incense-lighting rite honoring the Buddhist Triple Gem. First-year student representatives then led the Wai Khru chant and presented ceremonial trays to Professor Dr.Vanchai Sirichana, Chairman of the MFU Council; Assistant Professor Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, MFU President; along with the university's executives and faculty members.

During the ceremony, the President lit a symbolic candle, and both the Council Chairman and the President anointed a ceremonial book and  the foreheads of first-year students.  Certificates of honor were then presented to students with outstanding academic performance and those who had brought recognition to the university during Academic Year 2025. The ceremony closed with an oath recitation led by Chinavorn Teekawattanakorn, President of the MFU Student Union.

In his address, Professor Dr. Vanchai Sirichana highlighted that the Wai Khru ceremony is a sacred tradition upheld by the university, reflecting students' commitment to becoming disciples and teachers' readiness to accept them. He noted that he personally composed the Wai Khru chant to express respect for those who impart knowledge and virtue, serving as a guiding pledge for students throughout their studies.

He also recounted the history of MFU’s founding, named in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra the Princess Mother in tribute to her devotion and contributions to the Thai people, before wishing all students success, integrity, and happiness.

The Wai Khru ceremony is a significant tradition among Thai educational institutions, allowing students to express gratitude toward their teachers while reinforcing their identity as MFU students from the start of their academic journey. The university holds this ceremony annually to strengthen the bond between teachers and students, laying an important foundation for learning throughout their studies.
