วุฒิสภานำคณะศึกษาดูงาน มฟล. แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรมและนวัตกรรมสมุนไพร

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) ให้การต้อนรับคณะสมาชิกวุฒิสภา นำโดยนายมงคล สุระสัจจะ ประธานวุฒิสภา พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารและบุคลากรสำนักงานเลขาธิการวุฒิสภาและสำนักงานเลขาธิการสภาผู้แทนราษฎร รวม 22 คน เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 8 พฤษภาคม 2569 เวลา 13.30–15.30 น. ภายใต้โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้แนวปฏิบัติที่ดีระหว่างหน่วยงานของรัฐ เพื่อสนับสนุนภารกิจด้านต่างประเทศของวุฒิสภา ตามแผนปฏิบัติราชการสำนักงานเลขาธิการวุฒิสภา ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2569

ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มัชฌิมา นราดิศร อธิการบดี มฟล. เป็นประธานต้อนรับคณะ พร้อมด้วย ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุจิตรา วงศ์เกษมจิตต์ รองอธิการบดี และผู้บริหารที่เกี่ยวข้อง กิจกรรมประกอบด้วยการเยี่ยมชม 2 หน่วยงานหลัก ได้แก่ สถาบันศิลปวัฒนธรรมและอารยธรรมลุ่มน้ำโขง โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พลวัฒ ประพัฒน์ทอง หัวหน้าสถาบัน บรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของสถาบันในการอนุรักษ์และส่งเสริมมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง และศูนย์นวัตกรรมสมุนไพรครบวงจร มฟล. โดย รองศาสตราจารย์.ดร.ระวิวรรณ์ เจริญทรัพย์ หัวหน้าศูนย์ นำชมพื้นที่วิจัยและการผลิตสมุนไพรอินทรีย์ที่บูรณาการความรู้ด้านการแพทย์กับภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น

การดูงานครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ 3 วัน ระหว่างวันที่ 7–9 พฤษภาคม 2569 มุ่งเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจแก่บุคลากรด้านต่างประเทศของวุฒิสภาเกี่ยวกับคุณูปการของสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ต่อการพัฒนาประเทศ และการประยุกต์ใช้หลักปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง เพื่อนำไปใช้ในบริบทการรับรองประธานรัฐสภาต่างประเทศและเอกอัครราชทูต โดยคณะยังได้เยี่ยมชมมูลนิธิแม่ฟ้าหลวงในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ โครงการพัฒนาดอยตุงอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ ชุมชนบ้านแม่คำสบเปิน อำเภอแม่จัน และโครงการจัดการคาร์บอนเครดิตในป่าชุมชนบ้านร่องบอน อำเภอพาน

Senate President Leads Delegation to MFU, Exploring Cultural Heritage and Herbal Innovation

On May 8, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, President of Mae Fah Luang University, alongside Professor Dr. Sujitra Wongkasemjit, Vice President, welcomed a high-level delegation led by Mr. Mongkol Surasajja, President of the Senate. The 22-member group, including executives and staff from the Secretariat of the Senate and the House of Representatives,  visited MFU as part of the “Good Practices Exchange Project” to support the Senate's Foreign Affairs Mission.

The program featured an in-depth look at MFU’s flagship institutions.  At the Institute for Mekong Basin Civilization, Art and Culture, Associate Professor Dr. Pollavat Prapattong highlighted the university's efforts in documenting and promoting the cultural heritage of the Mekong sub-region.  This was followed by a visit to the Medicinal Plant Innovation Center, where Associate Professor Dr. Rawiwan Charoensup showcased organic herbal research that seamlessly integrates traditional local wisdom with modern pharmaceutical science. .
This visit was a key part of a three-day study program (May 7-9,  2026) focused on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and the monarchy's contributions to national development.  
In addition to the activities at MFU, the delegation explored the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage, the Doi Tung Development Project. The itinerary also included visits to the Ban Mae Kham Sop Poen Community in Mae Chan District and the Community Forest Carbon Credit Management Project in Ban Rong Bon in Phan District. These experiences provide essential insights for the Senate’s mission in hosting international dignitaries and strengthening Thailand’s global presence.
