มฟล. ต้อนรับคณะเยาวชนจากฮ่องกง แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมและวิชาการ

ส่วนพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ ต้อนรับคณะเยาวชนจาก Hong Kong STEM Nurture Association จำนวน 28 คน ในโครงการศึกษาดูงานและแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ ณ ประเทศไทย ระหว่างวันที่ 22–25 พฤษภาคม 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง และพื้นที่ต่าง ๆ ในจังหวัดเชียงราย

การจัดกิจกรรมครั้งนี้มุ่งส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านวิชาการและวัฒนธรรม และสร้างความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างเยาวชนไทยและฮ่องกง ผ่านกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ด้านวัฒนธรรมและการศึกษาดูงานในพื้นที่สำคัญของจังหวัดเชียงราย

เมื่อวันที่ 22 พฤษภาคม 2569 คณะเข้าเยี่ยมชมสถานที่ต่าง ๆ ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย และร่วมกิจกรรมเวิร์คช็อปงานหัตถกรรม "ตุงใยแมงมุม" ณ สถาบันศิลปวัฒนธรรมและอารยธรรมลุ่มน้ำโขง โดยมีคุณกฤตดนัย สมบัติใหม่ ศิลปินเชียงรายผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านศิลปะกระดาษล้านนา เป็นวิทยากร พร้อมนักศึกษาบัดดี้ร่วมดูแลและแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ตลอดระยะเวลาการศึกษาดูงาน

คณะยังมีกำหนดเยี่ยมชมโครงการพัฒนาดอยตุงอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ วัดห้วยปลากั้ง วัดร่องเสือเต้น และวัดร่องขุ่น ก่อนเดินทางต่อไปยังจังหวัดเชียงใหม่

กิจกรรมนี้สะท้อนพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงในการส่งเสริมความเป็นนานาชาติและการเรียนรู้ข้ามวัฒนธรรม

MFU Welcomes Youth Delegation from Hong Kong for Academic and Cultural Exchange

The Global Relations Division of Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) warmly welcomed a delegation of 28 youths from the Hong Kong STEM Nurture Association during their educational and cultural exchange visit to Thailand from 22–25 May 2026. The programme is being held at Mae Fah Luang University and various landmark locations across Chiang Rai Province.

The programme aimed to promote academic and cultural learning while fostering mutual understanding and friendships between Thai and Hong Kong youth through interactive activities and study tours in Chiang Rai.

On 22 May 2026, the delegation toured the MFU campus and participated in a traditional Lanna handicraft workshop to create “Spider Web Flag” (Tung Yai Mang Moom) at the Institute for Mekong Basin Civilization, Art and Culture. The workshop was led by Mr. Kritdanai Sombatmai, a Chiang Rai- based artist and expert in Lanna paper art, who shared local wisdom and northern Thai cultural heritage with the participants.

Throughout the visit, MFU student buddies actively engaged with the delegation, facilitating cross-cultural learning and strengthening international bonds.

The delegation is also scheduled to visit the Doi Tung Development Project, Wat Huay Pla Kang, Wat Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple), and Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) before continuing their journey to Chiang Mai.

This programme directly reflects Mae Fah Luang University’s ongoing commitment to internationalisation, providing collaborative learning spaces that nurture global citizenship and intercultural harmony.  ///////////////
