มฟล. ต้อนรับนักศึกษาพยาบาล ม.ดีกิน ออสเตรเลีย แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ระบบสุขภาพไทย

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) โดยสำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์และศูนย์บริการวิชาการ จัดโครงการ "Nursing and Health in Thailand Training for Deakin Students 2026" ระหว่างวันที่ 20–27 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ จังหวัดเชียงราย เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านการพยาบาลและสาธารณสุขระหว่างสองสถาบัน

พิธีเปิดโครงการเพื่อต้อนรับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาจาก Deakin University ประเทศออสเตรเลีย
จัดขึ้นวันจันทร์ที่ 22 มิถุนายน 2569 เวลา 08.30 น. ณ ห้อง E4-518 อาคารพลเอกสำเภา ชูศรี ชั้น 5

ตลอด 8 วัน โครงการจัดกิจกรรมวิชาการและภาคสนามครอบคลุมหลายมิติ ได้แก่ การบรรยายด้านระบบสุขภาพไทย สุขภาพชายแดน การป้องกันการตั้งครรภ์ไม่พึงประสงค์ และการแพทย์พื้นบ้านล้านนา พร้อมศึกษาดูงานในสถานพยาบาล 3 ระดับ ได้แก่ ศูนย์การแพทย์ มฟล. โรงพยาบาลแม่สาย และโรงพยาบาลแม่ฟ้าหลวง ครอบคลุมหอผู้ป่วยวิกฤต ศัลยกรรม อายุรกรรม แผนกฉุกเฉิน และผู้ป่วยนอก

นักศึกษายังได้เยี่ยมชุมชนชาติพันธุ์ ศึกษาการแพทย์แผนไทย-จีน และเยี่ยมชม Hall of Opium เพื่อทำความเข้าใจบริบทปัญหายาเสพติดในภูมิภาค พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมร่วมกับนักศึกษา "Nursing Buddies" ของ มฟล. ตลอดโครงการ

โครงการนี้เป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการเปิดมุมมองให้นักศึกษาต่างชาติได้เข้าใจระบบสุขภาพไทยในบริบทที่หลากหลาย ทั้งด้านชาติพันธุ์ ชายแดน และการแพทย์ทางเลือก ขณะเดียวกันนักศึกษา มฟล. ก็ได้รับการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์จากระบบสุขภาพออสเตรเลียด้วย

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงดำเนินความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาพยาบาลในระดับนานาชาติอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยใช้ศักยภาพของจังหวัดเชียงรายในฐานะพื้นที่ชายแดนพหุวัฒนธรรมเป็นห้องเรียนจริงสำหรับการเรียนรู้ด้านสุขภาพระดับโลก

MFU Welcomes Deakin University Students for Nursing and Health Training

The School of Nursing and the Academic Service Center at Mae Fah Luang University (MFU)are organizing the "Nursing and Health in Thailand Training for Deakin Students 2026" from June 20-27, 2026, in Chiang Rai Province. The official opening ceremony was held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the General Sampao Chusri Building.

Following the welcome, the Australian delegation paid respects at the Statue of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother, founder of the Thai nursing profession, before receiving an overview of the week-long program.

The intensive 8-day training combines academic sessions and fieldwork to offer Deakin students an immersive look into Thailand’s healthcare system.  The curriculum covers healthcare landscape, border health challenges,  unwanted pregnancy prevention, traditional Lanna folk medicine, and Chinese-Thai complementary medicine.  Participants will also gain firsthand experience at tertiary, secondary, and community health facilities, including the MFU Medical Center, Mae Sai District Hospital, and Mae Fah Luang District Hospital, exploring intensive care, surgical, medical, emergency, and outpatient departments.

In addition to clinical site visits, the international students will immerse themselves in local ethnic communities, visit the Hall of Opium to understand regional drug-related contexts, and participate in cultural exchanges with MFU's "Nursing Buddies" throughout the program..
The program offers a crucial window into Thailand’s healthcare system across diverse contexts—including ethnic health, border medicine, and alternative therapies—while giving MFU students reciprocal insights into Australia’s healthcare system.
MFU's School of Nursing continues to advance international nursing education partnerships, drawing on Chiang Rai's unique position as a multicultural border region to offer students an immersive, real-world learning environment in global health.
