มฟล. ร่วมฉลอง 250 ปี วันประกาศอิสรภาพสหรัฐอเมริกา

ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ร่มเย็น โกไศยกานนท์ รองอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) เป็นผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยเข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองฉลองครบรอบ 250 ปี วันประกาศอิสรภาพแห่งสหรัฐอเมริกา ณ โรงแรมแมริออท เชียงใหม่ จัดโดยสถานกงสุลใหญ่สหรัฐอเมริกาประจำเชียงใหม่ เมื่อวันที่ 23 มิถุนายน 2569

งานครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจากแขกผู้มีเกียรติระดับสูง ประกอบด้วย ฯพณฯ นายฌอน เค. โอนีล เอกอัครราชทูตสหรัฐอเมริกาประจำราชอาณาจักรไทย ฯพณฯ ดร.ปานปรีย์ พหิทธานุกร ที่ปรึกษาและทูตพิเศษของรองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และนางสาวคีเลีย คัมมินส์ กงสุลใหญ่สหรัฐอเมริกาประจำเชียงใหม่ โดยมีแขกผู้มีเกียรติและผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่และภาคเหนือเข้าร่วมงานเป็นจำนวนมาก

ตลอดหลายปีที่ผ่านมา มฟล. ได้สั่งสมความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นกับสหรัฐอเมริกาบนรากฐานของการเยือนอย่างเป็นทางการ ความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา และการต้อนรับนักวิชาการในโครงการ Fulbright Specialist ของสหรัฐอเมริกา ในการนี้ มฟล. ยังคงมุ่งมั่นกระชับเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศกับพันธมิตรสหรัฐอเมริกา เพื่อผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีศักยภาพในระดับสากลและขับเคลื่อนความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป

MFU Joins Celebration of the 250th Anniversary of US Independence
On June 23, 2026, Assistant Professor. Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University, attended the 250th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America at the Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel. The grand reception was hosted by the U.S. Consulate General in Chiang Mai.

Guests of honour included H.E. Mr. Sean K. O’Neill, Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Thailand; H.E. Dr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Chief Advisor and Special Envoy of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Ms. Kelia Cummins, the U.S. Consul General in Chiang Mai. The event was also attended by numerous distinguished guests and representatives from various public and private sectors across Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand.

Over the years, MFU has cultivated a robust relationship with the United States, built upon a foundation of official courtesy visits, academic collaborations, student exchange programs, and the hosting of U.S. Fulbright Specialists.
