มฟล. จัดพิธีทานหาแม่ฟ้าหลวง ประจำปี 2569 น้อมรำลึกสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) จัดพิธีทานหาแม่ฟ้าหลวง ประจำปี 2569 เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 17 กรกฎาคม 2569 ในช่วงเช้า ณ หอประชุมสมเด็จย่า มฟล. โดยมีศาสตราจารย์พิเศษ ดร.วันชัย ศิริชนะ นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วยกรรมการสภามหาวิทยาลัย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มัชฌิมา นราดิศร อธิการบดี ผู้บริหาร หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ผู้นำชุมชน และผู้เข้าร่วมพิธี

พิธีถวายเครื่องสักการะเริ่มต้น ณ หอประชุมสมเด็จย่า หน้าพระฉายาลักษณ์สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี โดยหัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ผู้นำชุมชน ผู้บริหาร และผู้แทนนักศึกษา ถวายเครื่องสักการะ ตามด้วยผู้แทนสภามหาวิทยาลัยและอธิการบดี ก่อนที่นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัย ประธานในพิธี จะถวายเครื่องสักการะ จุดธูปเทียนเครื่องทองน้อย และอ่านประกาศสดุดีพระเกียรติคุณ

จากนั้น พิธีทางศาสนา นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยจุดธูปเทียนบูชาพระรัตนตรัยและเครื่องทองน้อยหน้าพระฉายาลักษณ์สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี พระสงฆ์สมณศักดิ์ 10 รูปสวดพระพุทธมนต์ ก่อนคณะผู้บริหารและผู้มีเกียรติถวายไทยธรรมแด่พระสงฆ์ นายกสภามหาวิทยาลัยทอดผ้าไตร 10 ไตร และพระสงฆ์สดับปกรณ์และอนุโมทนา เป็นอันเสร็จพิธี

พิธีทานหาแม่ฟ้าหลวงจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปีในวันคล้ายวันสวรรคตของสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี ตรงกับวันที่ 18 กรกฎาคม เพื่อน้อมรำลึกถึงพระมหากรุณาธิคุณที่ทรงบำเพ็ญพระราชกรณียกิจต่อประเทศชาติและประชาชน โดยเฉพาะพระราชปณิธานในการ "ปลูกป่า สร้างคน" เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตประชากรและพื้นที่ภาคเหนือ

มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ซึ่งเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยในพระราชสมัญญา เข้าร่วมพิธีทานหาแม่ฟ้าหลวงของจังหวัดเชียงรายมาตั้งแต่ปี 2542 และเมื่อมหาวิทยาลัยจัดสร้างพระราชานุสาวรีย์สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนีแล้วเสร็จ และจัดให้มีพิธีประดิษฐานพระราชานุสาวรีย์แล้ว จึงได้จัดพิธีทานหาแม่ฟ้าหลวงขึ้นเองภายในมหาวิทยาลัยและจัดต่อเนื่องมาเป็นประจำทุกปี

MFU Holds 2026 "Tan Ha Mae Fah Luang" Merit-Making Ceremony Honoring Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) held the annual "Tan Ha Mae Fah Luang" (Lanna-style dedication of merit) ceremony on the morning of Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Somdet Ya Auditoriumthe. Professor Dr. Vanchai Srichana, Chairman of the MFU Council, presided over the ceremony, joined by members of the University Council, Assistant Professor Dr. Matchima Naradisorn, MFU President, university executives, government officials, community leaders, and distinguished guests.

The tribute-paying ceremony took place at the Somdet Ya Auditorium, before the portrait of the Princess Mother, where government officials, community leaders, university executives, and student representatives presented offerings, followed by representatives of the University Council and the President. The Chairman of the University Council, presiding over the ceremony, then presented offerings, lit candles and incense at the small gold-laden ceremonial tribute set, and read the tribute to the Princess Mother's virtues.

The religious service followed, with the Chairman of the University Council lighting candles and incense before the Triple Gem and the portrait of the Princess Mother. Ten high-ranking Buddhist monks chanted blessings, after which MFU executives and guests presented offerings to the monks. The Chairman of the University Council presented ten sets of monastic robes, followed by the monks performing the traditional requiem chanting and blessing to conclude the ceremony.

The "Tan Ha Mae Fah Luang" ceremony is held annually on the anniversary of the passing of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother Srinagarindra, which falls on July 18, to honor her profound contributions to the nation and its people. The event particularly honors her royal vision of "planting forests, nurturing people" to elevate the quality of life and develop Northern Thailand.

MFU, a university bearing a royally bestowed name, has participated in Chiang Rai Province's "Tan Ha Mae Fah Luang" ceremony since 1999. Following the completion and enshrinement of the Princess Mother's Royal Monument on campus, , the university has hosted its own ceremony, continuing this sacred tradition every year.
