มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (มฟล.) โดย สำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ จัดพิธีถวายเครื่องสักการะ เนื่องในวันพยาบาลแห่งชาติและวันทันตสาธารณสุขแห่งชาติ ประจำปี 2569 เพื่อน้อมสำนึกในมหากรุณาธิคุณอย่างใหญ่หลวงของ สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี ที่มีต่อการพยาบาล ทันตกรรม และสาธารณสุขของไทย จนได้รับการยกย่องให้เป็น "พระมารดาแห่งการพยาบาลไทย" และ "พระมารดาแห่งการสาธารณสุขไทย" ด้วยทรงเป็นแรงบันดาลใจและแบบอย่างอันสำคัญให้แก่นักเรียนและบุคลากรด้านสาธารณสุขทุกคน ผ่านพระราชกรณียกิจ พระราชจริยวัตร และพระราชปณิธานที่ทรงทุ่มเทตลอดพระชนม์ชีพ ทั้งความวิริยอุตสาหะในการศึกษาเล่าเรียนในด้านการพยาบาล การให้ความสำคัญกับสุขภาพช่องปากของประชาชน โดยทรงก่อตั้ง "หน่วยทันตกรรมเคลื่อนที่ พอ.สว." ขึ้น ซึ่งได้รวบรวมแพทย์และทันตแพทย์อาสา รวมทั้งสหวิชาชีพ ออกปฏิบัติงานรักษาพยาบาลและส่งเสริมสุขภาพให้แก่ประชาชนในถิ่นทุรกันดาร เพื่อให้มีสุขภาพและคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้น

ด้วยสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง มุ่งมั่นที่จะสืบสานพระราชปณิธานของพระองค์ท่าน จึงได้รับมติเห็นชอบจากสภามหาวิทยาลัยให้จัดตั้งโครงการทันตกรรมขึ้นในปี 2553 เพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ยากไร้และด้อยโอกาสที่มีปัญหาสุขภาพฟันและโรคในช่องปาก ซึ่งต่อมาได้รับพระราชทานชื่อ “โครงการทันตกรรมบรมราชชนนี”

ในการนี้ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุจิตรา วงศ์เกษมจิตต์ รองอธิการบดี เป็นประธานในพิธีถวายเครื่องสักการะและกล่าวคำถวายราชสดุดี พร้อมด้วย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชมพูนุช โสภาจารีย์ คณบดีสำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชูเกียรติ น้อยฉิม คณบดีสำนักวิชานิติศาสตร์ รองศาสตราจารย์ นพ.ปรีชา สุนทรานันท์ คณบดีสำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์ นายแพทย์ธวัชชัย ใจคำวัง รักษาการแทน ผู้อำนวยการ MFU Wellness Center ทันตแพทย์หญิงพันทิพย์ พาณิชย์ ผู้อำนวยการโครงการทันตกรรมบรมราชชนนี คณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ นักศึกษาจากสำนักวิชาพยาบาลศาสตร์ สำนักวิชาทันตแพทยศาสตร์ สำนักวิชาแพทยศาสตร์ สำนักวิชาการแพทย์บูรณาการ รวมทั้งบุคลากรจากโรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ศูนย์บริการสุขภาพแบบครบวงจรแห่งภาคเหนือและอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง และแขกผู้มีเกียรติจากภายนอก เข้าร่วมพิธีเมื่อวันพุธที่ 21 ตุลาคม 2569 ณ ลานพระราชานุสาวรีย์สมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี มฟล.

MFU Holds Tribute Ceremony for National Nurses' Day and National Dental Health Day 2026

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU), through the School of Nursing, held a tribute ceremony on National Nurses' Day and National Dental Health Day 2026 to express profound gratitude for the immense royal grace of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra toward Thai nursing, dentistry, and public health. Her Royal Highness has been revered as the "Mother of Thai Nursing" and the "Mother of Thai Public Health."

Her Royal Highness serves as an inspiration and an exemplary role model for all healthcare students and personnel through her lifelong royal duties, conduct, and dedication. These include her steadfast perseverance in her nursing studies and her commitment to the oral health of the public, which led to the founding of the "Volunteer Dental Medical Unit under Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra" (Princess Mother's Volunteer Dental Unit). The unit mobilizes volunteer doctors, dentists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide medical treatment and health promotion for people in remote areas, enhancing their health and quality of life.

In deep appreciation of Her Royal Highness’s royal benevolence, Mae Fah Luang University remains committed to continuing her royal mission. Consequently, the University Council approved the establishment of a dental project in 2010 to assist impoverished and underprivileged individuals suffering from dental and oral health issues. The initiative was subsequently granted the royal name, the "Boromrajajonani Dental Project."

On this occasion, Professor Dr. Sujitra Wongkasemjit, Vice President, presided over the tribute ceremony and delivered the eulogy. Joining the ceremony were Assistant Professor Dr. Chompunuch Sopajaree, Dean of the School of Nursing; Assistant Professor Dr. Narumanas Korwanich, Acting Dean of the School of Dentistry; and Associate Professor Dr. Chukeat Noichim, Dean of the School of Law. The event was also attended by faculty members, staff, and students from the School of Nursing, School of Dentistry, School of Medicine, and School of Integrative Medicine, alongside personnel from the Mae Fah Luang University Medical Center Hospital, MFU Wellness Center, and distinguished external guests. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the Princess Srinagarindra Statue Plaza, MFU.
